Hotel Torremangana

The Torremangana Hotel is a four stars one, with a good value for money. It is easy to find coming from Madrid, thanks to good indications. It is in the blue parking zone, so you should book parking in the Hotel, but do it in advance because it will be most probably full if you don't. The blue zone anyway doesn't apply anymore from 2 pm on Saturdays and during the whole day on Sundays.

Located in the old part of town, it is 30 minutes away from the Plaza Mayor walk, which you can't miss for it is beautiful with those houses painted in pastel colors. Uphill, like everywhere in the old part of Cuenca, so you should wear comfortable shoes. If you prefer, close to the hotel there are two bus lines going to Plaza Mayor.

The staff was very kind. The rooms were good, we went with a baby and they gave us a cradle in the room and even then we still had enough space. The bathroom looks old because instead of a door there is a curtain, but you can see they were renovated. In general we liked it. The location is also good.
