Caminando por la avenida peatonal Erekle en el casco histórico de la capital de Georgia, hay una estructura que indudablemente llamará tu atención: la Torre del Reloj de Tiblisi. El sitio forma parte de un teatro de marionetas financiado por el artista Revaz Gabriadze, uno de los actores y directores más reconocidos del país. Según Gabriadze, la torre (que parece estar a punto de desmoronarse) intenta replicar el espíritu naturalmente caótico del centro histórico de Tiblisi. A pesar de que la torre ha sido objeto de cierta controversia entre quienes buscan preservar la originalidad de los edificios antiguos en la zona, lo cierto es que es difícil que la curiosa estructura no te haga al menos sonreír mientras caminas por la avenida.
