Simonetta Di Zanutto
Worth a visit
An unmissable experience is the Cremona Torrazzo, located in the Piazza Comune. A staircase of 487 steps leads to the top of the tower, which is about 111 metres high. The climb isn't too difficult, as the steps are low, and there are several windows along the way where you can stop and admire the view. The last ten metres, however, consist of an uncovered, steep spiral staircase, so if you suffer from vertigo, you might want to give it a miss! But you can enjoy a magnificent 360 degree view of the city from the balcony below. You can see a unique view of the square, the cathedral, and the town
Hall.
