Torico Gourmet Centro Restaurant

10 reviews of Torico Gourmet Centro Restaurant

Complete menu for 15 euros

This restaurant has two premises, this one next to the Plaza del Torico and the other in the extension. To enter you have to go through a type of tunnel, and it’s normal to have to wait until a table becomes free.

I must say that I made a mistake with the second course, the fish stew had pieces of squid of doubtful freshness, apart from that, the first courses were very well made, and the peppers stuffed with cod and the lima beans were two succulent dishes.

Very recommended

Excellent

Our hotel recommended this place to us to have some tapas in the evening, it was Sunday night so there were not many places open or a lot of people on the street, so we listened to the recommendation.

In this restaurant, the tapas are individual (small), but the price is quite reasonable, from €1.50 to €1.70, depending on how complicated to make they are, the ingredients, etc. Also you can see that they had participated in some tapas fairs and there were some brochures with the winning tapas.

We ordered a half portion of potatoes with cabrales cheese, the winning tapa in 2011: a sandwich of Aragon baby lamb with a rich and creamy sauce, another winning tapa consisted of an eggplant with some kind of pigs offal (I personally didn’t like), local ham and cheese in the shape of a chocolate, boiled eggs with Teruel ham and to drink two tankards of beer (each one a half litre), and 2 little beers.
