Humayun Mausoleum Complex
Within the complex of the Tomb or Mausoleum of Humayun, this beautiful building is situated in the middle of a garden where the remains of one of Humayun's servants rests. This mausoleum was built in 1547 by Shah Suri, son of Sher Shah for an Afghan noble, who served him in court, called Isa Khan, and later served as a burial place for the whole of this noble family. Inside the enclosure, the tomb of the barber and Nili Chhatri are also housed, and worth seeing, all designed and built according to Mongolian architecture by Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyuath.
