An oasis
Todos Santos is a Mexican village situated in near La Paz which has several characteristics that make it a very popular destination, despite its size. One of them is that the Tropic of Cancer crosses through here, another is that the famous "Hotel California" from the Eagles song is located here (or at least that is what the locals claim). The waves make this place perfect for surfing (the beach is about 2 kms from the town).
Although it is in a desert, it is an oasis that can grow mango, papaya and avocado crops.
