While Chicago is amazing in the culinary industry, the one style I cannot seem to find the very best in is breakfast. I am in love with so many places for breakfast in Chicago, and one of my top contenders is nestled in the neighborhood of Lincoln Park. It is Toast.

If you are true breakfast connoisseur, then this the place for you. They make the ultimate conceptions of benedicts, pancakes, french toasts, and egg scramblers. They use all sorts of homemade sauces, and they play with the ideas of sweets and savory. The best item on the entire menu is the mascarpone filled french toast. When I go with my mother, we each get our own dish and then share a plate of mascarpone french toast.
