Gorgeous village
About two years ago, the village of Thornton-Le-Dale was declared by VisitBritain to be one of the most picturesque villages of the United Kingdom. Well, having read this, we had to go and see if it was true. Since then we've been three times, and each time we've fallen more in love with this gorgeous village. It's very English, very traditional, and - yes! - certainly very picturesque. It's easy to see everything in less than a day. Start at the center where you'll find a large park with ducks.
