Like many houses in Ho Chi Minh, and throughout Vietnam, Thien Hong was made into a kind of small hotel. It is quite new and with well-equipped rooms, and it is cheap. In 2009 I ended up paying € 7 night for a single room (with hot water, fan, bathroom and refrigerator). It is in the area of accommodation, restaurants, cafes and travel agencies near the area where buses leave backpackers. It was in one of those alleys, almost impassable, and almost pedestrian, connecting a wide street with another. Tad hard to find, but you can ask. Worth it just for the everyday life near these streets.
