Theatre Square

The theater square is the second most important place in the old heart of Lille. From there, you can go directly to the train station Lille Flandres, just five minutes walk away. It is a beautiful square, dominated by the clock tower of the Chamber of Commerce of Lille and its region. On one side, it is the back part of the beautiful old stock market building, one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. On the other side, you can see the opera house, the chamber of commerce and, between the two, several cafes making the most of the space to install a terrace. The problem is that it is a windy city, and it is cold much of the year.
