The World's Largest Flower

The Rafflesia is the world's largest flower. After a long, roughly 2 hour walk into the forest, we reached our goal. Its about 1m in diameter, and people say it weighs about 10 kilos. It's a parasitic plant, the grows into a cabbage shape over 9 months and flowers over a week. At this point it is worth the visit. Inside the plant is full of flies and smells slightly fishy, ​​but the flower itself is really nice.
