1 review of William Wallace Pub

Irish pub

Excellent

Its name probably explains its fame. If there is a Scottish historical figure known throughout the world that was Sir William Wallace, one of the defenders of the Scottish nation and thanks, among other things, to the Mel Gibson film "Braveheart," he became famous. Given that it was in Stirling where Wallace got his biggest hits (Wallace was from the Glasgow area), its name is a constant attraction, and it is what makes this pub one of the most picturesque around Stirling defendants. Its location could not be more ideal, just below the monument of the Scottish hero, from where he planned the battle of Stirling Bridge.

There are pub meals served, but this is clearly not the specialty of the house, which is beer and their local environment. But that said, the food is not bad it simply is not the best in the area. However, as this pub is one of the best. Its owner is most typical, exactly what you would expect in a typical British pub: a gentleman who is elegant in a white apron with a tie, vest, watch and exquisite manners. If a pub can reflect the spirit of a people, this is the case in the Stirling, so if you happen to be around the area and you are wanting to experiment with the local atmosphere, there is no doubt that this is the place.
