Named after the beautiful Westgate which marks the entrance to the historic center of Canterbury, The West Gate Inn is a traditional pub serving traditional dishes like fish & chips or chicken and mushroom pies. Just order at the bar and take your seat at a table with a good pint of English ale. We loved the traditional atmosphere and the quality of food, especially given their very low prices (4 pounds for fish and chips)!
