West End Hotel

The West End Hotel, while taking on the title of 'hotel', is a backpackers hostel in the making. It is not located in the city center but in the West End, a 10 minute walk from the quiet Royal Mile. It is ideal if you want quiet and a clean site that will not charge you a kidney. It has an outdoor terrace, ideal for breakfast and / or dinner.

The dorms are very clean and quite bright. Some rooms have private bathrooms (one per room) including a toilet and shower (mine was spotless throughout my stay). In addition there is a kind of small safe with a lock, which is perfect things in overnight without worrying about theft.
