Fuencaliente and volcanoes should be synonymous in the dictionary. Although the one found in Teneguía is also impressive too.

The volcano erupted in 1677, the municipality's water source. The spring that was trying to escape years ago for its exploitation. It has a visitors center that informs visitors of the volcano’s history with a video and thematic expositions.

There’s a bar before the entrance to go visit the crater if you need to recover you strengths before or after seeing Teneguía volcano and the entire Fuencaliente coast.

Numerous volcanic mounds covered with old lava reminds us of the volcanic origin of the island, which also presents a charming landscape.
