The Village Market
I lived in Tecpan de Galeana around 1980 and as I travel very often to Lazaro Cardenas. I have to go by Tecpan. I recommend eating in Tecpan going to the market, the only thing about the village is where one can find the filling stew consisting of pieces of pork baked with potatoes and herbs and a chilli. If you go in the morning ask for a roll with stuffing. Ask for an Eskimo or order a papaya smoothie. It's delicious to accompany your roll. The chicken is also a very rich stew with beans, we will also find several meat dishes of different chilli pork. I also recommend rabbits to accompany a nice piece of fresh pork.
