The Torojón Viewpoint

Finding The Torojón Viewpoint, and especially trekking up to it is hard work, but the spectacular panoramic views you'll get at the end make it worthwhile. The viewpoint is at the end of Calle Guapo, and you can get there by a small, narrow staircase chiseled out of the rock to form the floor of virtually the entire villa. There aren't any signs anywhere to help you get there, so your best bet is to ask a local if you're having trouble finding it. Once you're on the upper part, you'll have the village at your feet, and looking beyond it, you'll see the spectacular scenery of the Peaks of Douro and our neighbor, Portugal.
