The most famous Buddhist temples are, without a doubt, situated in Lhasa, Tibet. You can find them in Barkhor Square. Hundreds and hundreds of Tibetans come from all corners of the region to this temple to pray to Buddha. Children, teenagers, seniors, elderly people ... I sat and watched quietly murmuring prayers all the time. It was like the sound of a swarm of bees in harmony, in pure harmony. Jokhang is considered a World Heritage Site along with the Potala Palace. It is a 4-storey temple (from which you can admire the majestic Potala Palace) and their roofs are covered with a spectacular golden tiles.
At the entrance you can see the figure of two golden deer and in the center a great dharma wheel. Its interior is witness to the immense wealth that dwells on its walls, Buddhas, melancholy, ancient teachings and all resting on an immense silence.
