Good for a pint, not for dinner
Maybe I just didn't like Scottish food, but I couldn't find anywhere decent during my whole trip, and The Tavern is no exception. The menu is huge and the prices, like everything in Scotland, are expensive, with the cheapest dishes starting around £10.00. If the food was good, there wouldn't be a problem but it was bland and didn't seem to have been made with much care at all. Don' get me wrong...the place is nice if you want to grab a pint, but it's probably not a good place for dinner.
