The Street Bars

In Vientiane there's an endless variety of bars and restaurants, you can find all kind of establishments, there's foods from all over the world and, of course, excellent Laotian food, plus there are bars to suit all tastes, from refined cafes to gambling dens that only locals find. The ones I like are the latter and, therefore, most of the time we went to small establishments with just a serving counter but with extraordinary atmospheres. The best places of this type, for my taste, are those consisting of small shops that have several tables set up on the street for people to have their drinks.
