The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum offers visitors rather curious collections, in part, made by local people over the years. There are collections of portraits, reading glasses, jewelry, seashells and two more original pieces: A tunic with an executioner's ax from 1820 and a pitcher from 1427 (possibly the oldest piece). On the outside there are several pieces belonging to the agricultural past that makes a pleasant garden on one side of the building. To its credit, entrance is totally free and it has a nice cafe, which together with voluntary donations are the museum's only source of income
