Space Needle

The emblem of Seattle is almost 200 meters. It was built for the 1962 Expo and it is one of the tallest buildings on the west coast. It is easy to get to and it's not far from the city center. The monorail goes to the same tower. There is the option of buying a ticket for the day and night (totally recommended). From the top you have a complete view of the city.

Entrance to the iconic Space Needle from the rail station. Unmatched views of the city and surrounding land/waterscapes, the Space Needle, open since the 1962 World's Fair, is to Seattle what the Empire State Building is to New York City.

Fantastic views, especially if you are lucky enough to visit when Mt. Rainer is visible, shopping, and dining all combine to make a destination any visitor to Seattle should not miss.
