Fantastic Glacial Views

The Path of the Six Glaciers is the most popular route in the vicinity of Lale Louise in the Canadian Rockies, it is a journey that can be done in a day (it is about 17 kms) and is relatively flat terrain that offers fantastic views of the lake and glaciers that feed it (hence the name). The route starts from the world famous Chateau Lake Louise and it is well signposted. As it isn't a circular route, rather, it is a route that you take there and back, many people decide to cut it short and only go to the plain where the lovely Tea House of the Plain of Six Glaciers is, but it really is worth the extra effort walk the trail to the very base of the glaciers.
