Of exceptional ecological interest
The Sierra Calderona, located between the provinces of Castellón and Valencia (Spain), whose physical-natural characteristics and it's precious landscape give it an exceptional ecological interest. It’s located just 20 minutes outside of Valencia, in the direction of Betera and Olocua.
This time I went with a good friend, the itinerary XXI-Font del Marge, with a 16,400 path of which 3,400 were paved and 13 km on a track, the maximum slope was 410m.
The route takes you down some, completely immersing you in nature. You do a little on asphalt but you'll seen pass to the track. The ascent is very good, especially once you're up top and can take in the sights.
During the ascent, you'll spot the ancient Cartuja de Portacli aqueduct.
