Usually in solitude
Inside the National Palace in Central Zocalo you can find the Mexican Senate building. Admission is free and access is freely provided that there is no political action. Usually it is almost in solitude, and you can see where the first Mexican Constitution was adopted, where the latest colonialists riots were extinguished and where laws that govern the nation are decided every day. Small, in shades of gold, pink and white, it seems incredible that such a physically fragile building has hosted both civil and political power. Next to it is a room containing several ancient government documents relating to independence, press releases and chronicles.
