Famous Saloon
The Salty Dawg Saloon is famous throughout Alaska. It is a very seedy bar, but is very original and rustic. It normally closes during the winter and reopens in March. The building itself was built in 1897 and was one of the first buildings in Homer. You have to go for a drink if only to say you've been in the Salty Dawg.
