Actually, if not for the buildings behind the City, London's financial district, you wouldn't know you were in the British capital. It looks like you're by the sea, on a Sunday, where families go to relax and get some fresh air. The Queen's Walk is a pedestrian route that was built entirely within the last 10 years. It was built with the idea that from the entrance to the outlet of London, the Thames would be for pedestrians. It is only on one side of the river, but it's perfect for going skating, running, cycling, walking, etc. Street artists, painters, cartoonists and jugglers come on the weekend in hopes of attracting more people than just the locals.
