The Pulpeiras Sculpture

In the region of Salnes and about 6 kilometers from the town of Vilanova, these stone sculptures by the mason Nunez, are located. It is a tribute to the "pulpeiras" or octopus, a prized delicacy. This stone sculpture on a roundabout is located very close to the famous Bridge of Godparents, currently semipedestrian due to improvements made by the county council.
