The Mountain House

We spent some really great days in Pokhara, and this is partly thanks to Stan and his wife Indira. In Pokhara we were just looking for a place to sleep, but The Mountain House exceeded our expectations. Its facilities are normal for a pension, but the friendliness of the staff make you feel at home. Stan was helpful to us at all times helping when we were planning our trips and his wife Indira prepared the best meal we had had so far in Nepal: regional home. There was no better way to start the day than with breakfast on the terrace. And if we agreed it with Indira, we were prepared a typical Nepalese meal home cooked asalways, it was much appreciated.
