Market
Depending on the time of year, the traditional Touquet market is held on Mondays, Thursdays or Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. It is in the main square with the arch, near the city center, and is unavoidable when visiting the area. It's possible to distinguish between the outdoor market and the internal market (the covered market). The indoor market was built between 1927 and 1932. Its has a crescent shape and was built with stone vaults which has earned it the rank of historic heritage monument. As it is a meeting and exchange point, it is possible to find a large number of local, regional produce, seafood and fruits and vegetables in season.
