El hostal "The Mahjong" en la ciudad de Hong Kong ha sido un de los mejores sitios que he elegido para hospedarme durante todos mis viajes. Se encuentra en la zona de Kowloon, al norte de la ciudad y resalta por su limpieza, su impecable atención y su cuidado por los detalles y la satisfacción del cliente. Una cama en dormitorio mixto cuesta alrededor de HKD$200 (alrededor de 25 euros). Si bien no es la opción más económica del lugar, es quizás la única alternativa que te garantiza una buena noche y un sitio donde relajarte si no quieres estar caminando por la ciudad todo el día. El diseño de los dormitorios es también una ventaja del lugar. Cada una de las camas tiene una cortina que hace totalmente la diferencia en cuanto a privacidad. Todos los dormitorios excepto el femenino tienen ventanas y aire acondicionado. En la cocina hay café y té gratuitos e ilimitados, además de un horno de microondas y agua fría y caliente (sobre todo para preparar sopas instantáneas). Hay un restaurante cantonés a pocos metros que tiene un menú dentro del hostel, y al que se puede pedir comida por teléfono. Por otro lado, la sala de estar está entre las más cómodas y agradables que he visto en un hostel. Una enorme ventana permite observar la ciudad desde arriba, y hay un par de sillones para leer o descansar después de una jornada agotadora por las calles de Hong Kong. Una recomendación total: Si vas a Hong Kong, no encontrarás mejor hostal que el Mahjong.
