The Little Haven Hotel
Located literally on top of ka-Shields South Beach, north-east coast of England, is the small hotel called "Little Haven" (small shelter). it gets its name from the fact that in ancient times the area was a natural protection against invasions, mainly from the Vikings. The hotel bar has a covered terrace offering views of the sea, the beach and the port of North-Shields, from where a ferry departs for Amsterdam. It's good value for money especially for the service but the location is the clincher as it reverberates with the noise of the waves, seagulls and coincidentally, the wind. It is a convenient place if we are in the area of Sunderland - Newcastle and want a quiet place to sleep, away from the busy city.
