The Indianas Houses of Begur

In Begur, as in other towns of the Costa Brava, there are easily identifiable style houses or mansions which are also called Colonial Indian or Catalan. All these buildings now set up an important heritage of this place and it was a kind of architecture that was built in the mid nineteenth century and early twentieth century. They are property of people who made their fortune in America and returned to their country of origin and brought their own colonial style America. There are many examples in Begur, Bonaventura Carreras street is perhaps the place that has more of these sites that are identified and specified in its tour route.
