Craft Beer Lovers!
In today's social world, the craft beer industry has certainly taken flight! (No pun intended) Craft beers are multiplying by the minute and new flavors and styles are being created. There are designated bars/pubs in the States that have to keep up with it all for consumers to stay up to date. The House Pub is one of these places. This bar has well over 200 craft beers in bottles, cans, and drafts. There is something for everyone. Ciders, Ales, Stouts, Ambers, International as well as American. They do not serve food, but they don't need to realistically.
The House Pub is located in a Chicago suburb called Saint Charles. Saint Charles is right on the Fox River and has quite an upper/middle class of people living there. The downtown area is cute and trendy, but it is very far from what the feeling of Chicago is like. To remove yourself from the "Big City feel," one should definitely come here and experience the suburban community style. It has history all over and some really beautiful buildings.
The best part about The House Pub is their music venue! We came to see this wonderful Bluegrass Band from Chicago, and the stage is so intimate and close! The stage and sound are great and seem up to date. The band itself was fantastic and I highly suggest checking out Under the Willow to see if they play again! The House Pub has a total list of the bands scheduled throughout the month written in chalk on the bar wall. It is worth seeking out!
