The Homage Tower

The Homage Tower is the ultimate symbol of Cold in the whole of Spain! The keep can be seen from any point in the Burgos municipal area and it is also one of the most important symbols of the province of Burgos and it stands completely independently from the rest of the castle. It was created as one of the defenses of the city and the bottom part of the tower comprises the oldest preserved remains of the castle of the Cold. On the inside of the keep, a vaulted area composed of a barred window can be seen and from which some of the best views of the Cold and Tobalina Valleys can be enjoyed.
