The Haycock Hotel
The Haycock Hotel is in the picturesque village of Wansford, which is surrounded by the stone cottages of Cambridgeshire. The hotel was built in the 16th century, so it has a remarkable past. Both Mary Queen of Scots, as well as the young Queen Victoria have been visitors. It's even said that the Haycock changed hands once in a card game! The story goes that one day Barnaby fell asleep and woke up several hours later floating in the river. He asked a passerby where he was and they told him Wansford, to which Barnaby yelled that Wansford is in England.
