The Governors Palace
This beautiful palace is located in the Plaza de la Iglesia, although formerly it had a funny name, "Plaza of Vegetables", because the market was housed within it. The Palace of the Governors was built in the eighteenth century and, until the early nineteenth century, was the base of the Gibraltar Military Command. It is said that this place conceived the strategy for the attacks in the siege of Gibraltar.
