Inviting wooden decor
This Tolbiac neighborhood, next to the National Library of France, is very modern, and slightly impersonal. But the Frog & British Library pub is very inviting with its wooden decor, comfortable chairs and soft lighting. You can choose one of their homemade beers, from four types of beer, and in either a glass or jug, ie a little more than two liters, I think for 22 euros. Since the place closes early, it's good to go when you finish the day rather than in the middle of the night. The music is good, and it is always busy, but not too much. The food seems a bit expensive, English pub food, such as hamburgers, fish and chips, steak, and small plates of stuffed potatoes or fried potato skin.
