This dragon stone on the beach of Millport, is a simple creation of a local artist, with the aim to attract the attention of visitors, enhancing a place where local children usually play from the past on. For unknown reasons, some people are reminded of a crocodile, but due to the reason it is in salt water and the way it loooks like, it must be definitely a dragon. The strange thing is that locals consider it as a legend, which is now modern. But it could also give proof to many legends that exist throughout Scotland. The dragon comes to life when a child is in danger, as it could be dropped into the water, making the children who are there more careful when they play their games.
Maybe in many years this is the origin of another case known as the Loch Ness monster - you never know!
