The Cathedral Park

Pau, a city full of green spaces, is wonderful to stroll through. There is a park there that I found particularly beautiful, the one located right next to the cathedral. This is a huge park that gives you an overwhelming feeling of space and tranquility. It's circular and slightly off the ground, so to access it you have to climb a small staircase. Highlights of this park include its central location and the beautiful sculpture of epic proportions that represents one of the battles that affected the city throughout history. The park also has a fountain that is quite peculiar since it surrounds the whole park.
