This hotel was constructed on the 14th anniversary of the "Cistercian Abbey". It was used by 2 famous hotels, "The Castle" and the 15th anniversary of the "King's Head". It has had a major contribution in its history, with famous people appearing such as as "Telford" Stephenson "," Wordsworth "and the queen of Romania who had food in the restaurant. The owners since 2000 have been the Lavin Family with friends and partners, Graham Tinsley and the great "Chef" , who form a great culinary team. Peter Lavin and Graham have worked together for about 20 years, and their philosophies have always been to provide meals that are outstanding.
