The Capuchin Handicraft Market

Located on 3rd Avenue North, this ruin of Antigua Guatemala can be visited. Even though it is a site for visitors, most people come because the sidewalk is wide so many women place themselves there to sell their crafts. Generally women of the region are recognized by the type of dress they wear, typical Sacatepéquez, in blue, and different from those of the Atitlán region. The market is filled with tons of different colors, and is very cute. There are about twenty women located in the corner with blouses, belts, and other costumes of their people. The prices here are a bit lower than the main market.
