Chíllar River Walk

The tour of the Rio Chillar, Cahorros Nerja, in the region of Axarquia in Malaga, is one of the most amazing hiking paths, refreshing and enjoyable to do. You are crossing the river in its bed, walking over water between vegetation and rocks, in some cases, up small waterfalls, through some small pools where you can swim and so the dam. Coming back on the hike will take about 8 or 9 hours, it just depends on how many stops you decide to take. The most impressive and spectacular journey is when you get to the "Cahorros" at the beginning of the route, which are small narrow rock gorges, about 50 meters high and 250 meters long.
