A tiny yellow train
The beautiful Rio Santa Teresa neighborhood has a special character like no other: The Bondinho, a tiny yellow train, that goes up and down the very steep slope of Largo da Carioca all day, every half hour between 6 am and 11 pm. Santa Teresa is high above Rio de Janeiro, so the Bondinho is widely used by residents and tourists alike. The tram, the second oldest in South America, is very cheap.
