The Bazaar in Kashgar
The souk of Kashgar (not to be confused with the weekly cattle market), spans much of the old Kashi ... the little that is left of this mythical city, as the Chinese government is determined to build a new city in the style of the rest of China: large avenues and buildings, like a giant country ... The old Kashgar is the opposite. It is A maze of streets between buildings with earth materials: wood and clay (very worn), where life flows peacefully. There you will find many things like Food stalls, tools, pottery and other goods with no apparent order. The locals just come and go, sometimes buying things and sometimes just waving at on another.
