On reaching Chandigarh, we checked to see if it worked. Speculations were resolved and the city continued to flow gently as if the rest of India didn't exist. I think the surprise was guaranteed. Chandigarh was part of a plane of charcoal personified in concrete structures and balconies, with large windows opening onto avenues. Large avenues. They resolved that which was confirmed was the need of a flowing city, to have time and space. From which came air. From which chaos contaminated each neighbouring cell. Human body, leaving us wandering with respect and admiration.
