Warwick Allerton Hotel Chicago

The Allerton Hotel was one of the first skyscrapers of the Magnificent Mile, which was built in the late 1920s. During Al Capone's reign in Chicago, it was one of the key areas of social life of the city. Then, with the passing of time and and the construction of other glass and steel giants, it lost its luster and fell into disrepute. Ten years ago, it underwent an extensive renovation that restored it to its former glory, something this historic building deserves. One of its distinguishing features is the sign TIP TOP TAP on the exterior wall which was once the name of the bar on the top floor which closed 50 years ago.
