Organic Greek food
Thasos was the first Greek restaurant I'd ever been to. While the menu has a lot of seafood, I opted for the tasting menu: first, we had Greek cheese with lemon, then meatballs and a wonderful salad, and finally an excellent Greek-style fish. All washed down with lovely Greek white wine. To finish it all off, a chocolate mousse that left me speechless. The owner works right out on the floor overseeing operations and he really makes you feel right at home. All the ingredients they use are fresh and organic, and the breads are baked right in the restaurant. The best part is that you can eat a lot and not feel heavy and sleepy afterwards.
