Teton Pass Ski Area

This is a little area that rocks – a double chair and a poma set on a breathtaking mountain smack in the middle of nowhere. We first found this area on a frosty morning with the snow falling at an inch an hour, the temperature hovering below zero, and four cars in the parking lot. Formerly known as Rocky Mountain Hi, the area has opened and closed a number of times over the recent years – hopefully it will be open again this year. New owners installed a poma a few years ago to open up more terrain. They also refurbished the base lodge so it includes an upscale restaurant and a beautiful bar. Unfortunately,
