The great thing to remember

Besides the typical external structure, it is the interiors to tell how was the life of the people of this part of the south in the past times. Obviously we speak of more affluent classes: the rich cuisines of vessels and containers of all kinds, from the decorated terracotta albeit simple inlays precious willow and straw. Inevitable "necklaces" chilli stuck on snow-white walls and ready to prepare tasty recipes. Nostalgic room for rest, with high beds from imposing tested and designed with floral images, while any niche filled with sacred elements, paintings, statues, crucifixes ... A past that makes us understand the present and the future.

The height of Alberobello, apart from...

The height of Alberobello, apart from two specific neighborhoods still exist here and there, the trulli. The regional museum in a large trullo reveals inside on two levels. Fascinating tour that explains the life of yesteryear. Necessary to enter the local intimacy, rather than in a store, although the structure of stones piled everywhere is also attractive. It is also happening in the beer garden, beautiful display of everyday objects. These cottages are quite comfortable. Small house, small car, I could not resist the picture!
